What do you need for a Poker Night?

If you are ready to celebrate a night with your bros a poker night is a great way to do it. Poker nights are great because you can get competitive while also enjoying time with friends. Be sure you invite people who have a long attention span because the night could go on for 3 or more hours. So what do you need for a successful poker night?  As long as you have the right game essentials, drinks, food, a memorable atmosphere, and a cigar bar your friends will have a fantastic night. 

Game Essentials

If you plan on playing texas hold ‘em you will need at least 2 decks of cards. Having a second deck of cards comes in handy so you can always have one deck shuffled and ready to go. The decks of cards should have different designs to stop cards from one deck from mixing with the other deck. Next, purchase a set of plastic poker chips with numbers on them is a must. Having numbers on the chips avoids confusion. Have a minimum of 300 chips of various denominations. Moreover, a dealer button will need to be at the poker night, which will provide authority and clarity.
