What to do For a Guys Night Out?

We often hear the term “girls night out” but what about the guys? They too deserve a “guys night out” with their friends every once in a while. Whether it’s to celebrate someone’s birthday, throw a bachelor party, or just to have a fun night to get together without the ladies, There’s nothing like spending time with your people. Here are the top 3 things to do on your night out with the boys.

Sports Night

If your friends are into sports why not gather the group to cheer on your team. Have some finger foods for your guest to enjoy such as chips and dip, wings, and pigs and a blanket to name a few. Have the guys bring their favorite beverage to share. This will provide a variety of drinks to chose from. When you are watching a game on your guys night you need to make sure the viewing area is comfortable and will accommodate your guest. Pull in extra chairs so everyone can have a seat. A large flat-screen television with a good picture quality will impress your bros. If you want to go the extra mile print out a listing of stats, facts, and figures for the gaming season you are watching. This way during halftime you can check on future games.

Game Night

Do you have competitive friends? Then a game night is perfect for your guys night out. Pull out your favorite video game for the guys and there you go.  If video games aren’t your friends’ thing then pull out your favorite board game. Only things to add to the guys night out, the essentials food, and beverages. As long as everyone gets into the game it will be a fun night!

Beer Tasting

Beer...enough said for guys night out. Beer goes well with fatty foods men love like hot wings, pizza, and nachos. When you are planning your beer gathering encourage your friends to bring their favorite beer to share with the group. Try a few crossover beers during the event. They introduce the palate to something new and different while keeping the culture shock to a minimum. Pick a lager, pilsner, or a pal ale. The group will enjoy them! Be sure to make room in the refrigerator to keep the beers cold. Maintain the beer at an even temperature to keep the flavor from changing. If your beer is already cold keep it in the fridge until time to serve. When it comes to beer there is no right or wrong opinion so serve it up!

Your guys night will be a hit as long you serve good beverages and have food options for the guys. Have a game ready as well or a sports game on. If you want to have a game night but don’t have the space for it look no further than Haberdash. We have a bar, catering, games, and lots of room located in downtown Charleston, SC.

Grooms Prepare for the Big Day Too

Kacie Faulling

The magical day of your wedding doesn’t just have to be the bride’s big day, it can be the grooms too. A lot of times there is a big emphasis on the bride, and making the day as special as possible for her. The focus is on her, and her getting ready process. Not to mention the abundance of pictures taken beforehand with her and her bridal party. But what does the groom do to prepare? Here are ways the groom can not only do to help with the planning of the wedding, but also prepare for HIS big day.

Divide and Conquer

As a couple preparing for The Big Day, there are many ways the bride and groom can divide the wedding planning. Dividing up the tasks is key to planning something truly spectacular, and also to limiting stress. The bride doesn’t have to be the only one doing all the planning. So how can the groom help do his part? We will tell you.

Putting Together the Budget

Making a budget for the wedding is crucial because it establishes a spending limit, and also helps you organize all the expense for the big day. The groom can do his part by helping to put this together.

Reserving the Valet

The groom can also take responsibility for reserving the valet for the wedding party to and from the venue. It's important to find a valet service that is reliable and will get you where you need to be on time and in style. We recommend using Charleston Luxury Valet's services. Their exquisite fleet of vehicles will provide a luxurious ride for all guests. Each vehicle is detailed before every event and is stocked with chilled bottled water.

Assembling the Groomsmen

Before planning any kind of bachelor party, you will want to assemble your groomsmen and give someone the role of best man. Putting together a group of men who will support you on your big day is very important.

Planning the Perfect Bachelor party

Planning a bachelor party to remember forever can also be a task for the groom. When planning, make sure you find a venue within budget that can host you and your groom's party, and that fits all your needs. Haberdash offers 3 packages, each suited to make a groom’s bachelor party one to remember.
